Barbara was a wonderful grandma to Ann-marie, Christiana, and Paul, and she also found the time to spend with their little brother Matthew. She had other grandchildren too, there was Aimmee, Joshua and Quinn,Nicholas and Rhiannon,Carl and Sarah and last but not least, little Robert, all who doted on their grandma.
I myself was related to this incredible lady by marriage during my past, and i was very fortunate enough to get to know her very well, and the one quality she had above and beyond anyone else was her zest for life, she would play Bingo at her local club very often on a Monday with her family, she would fly off abroad with her friends once a year and let her hair down, and in general enjoy life.
From the very beginning of me meeting this lady, i knew she was a force to be reckoned with, but i always felt that she was fair, but there was no mistaking that if you upset her in any way she would have your guts for garters (so to speak). She certainly had her fair share of ill health over the years, but she most definately was a fighter, and despite her illness she showed great courage and strength, this was a lady that battled on until the time came for her to say Goodbye, and meet up with her husband George and her friend Polly, all i can say now "it was a pleasure to have had this lady in my life, and i will never look back with sadness,as she wouldn't want me too".
PS. Thanks for the sign early this morning barbara, i now know that you are alright.

It's been a year now. So hard too, probably the worst one I've ever had. They say it gets easier, but at least when pops died I had you, now theres no-one. It's hard still living in the same street you did cos it's weird walking by your house and not being able to go in and say hello. I still talk to you and dad as though you're still in the room. Say hi to Pauline and all the rellies for me. Love you now and always.
